Scaredy Cat was inspired by my anxious dog, Pip. Kids help a little girl hunt for Scaredy Cat in each spread until the final page reveals him as a (spoiler alert) dog! I had a lot of fun writing this rhyming text and Anil Tortop exceeded my expectations with her gorgeous illustrations.
